Donna Hewitt MSW, LSW
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) dedicated to helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University and completed The Theresa Daniels-Hester Violence Against Women Certificate (VAWC) Program at Rutgers University, which enhanced my understanding of trauma and domestic violence.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, domestic violence-related issues, and school-related stress. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being honest, authentic, and empowered to grow.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients develop practical skills they can use in their everyday lives. Clients often describe me as direct, easy to talk to, and supportive, with a sense of humor that helps make difficult conversations feel more approachable.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel accepted for who they are and supported as they work toward their goals.
I look forward to helping you build on your strengths and create the life you want for yourself.
